Summer Fesitvals
The Oscoda Chamber of Commerce offers several events throughout the summer months.
Oscoda Concert Series:
Join family and friends at the Oscoda Beach Park. Concerts start in June and continue through Labor Day Weekent. Entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m.
27th Annual Art on the Beach - June 26 & 27, 2010
Over 150 artisians display and sell their handmade art, crafts, hobbies, and talents on beautiful Lake Huron, Oscoda Beach Park. Great food and refreshments. A juried show with no buy and sell junk. A gorgeous sandy beach and picnic area with lots of playground equipment, and fun for all ages.
4th of July Parade and Fireworks
Parade through downtown and a fireworks display at dusk at the AuSable Shoreline Park
63nd Annual AuSable River International Canoe Marathon - July 24 & 25, 2010
Beginning at dusk in Grayling and ending in Oscoda, 120 miles and 14 non-stop hours later! Paddlers from all over the nation and Canada meet the challenge in this must see event.
12th Annual Gaguwon Traditional Pow Wow - July 24 & 25, 2010
Experience the Native American Spirit at this traditional event held at Old Orchard Park, 6 miles west of Oscoda on our National Scenic Byway, River Road. Come see the Indian Folk Lore, Dances, Dress, and crafts.
Shoreline Arts & Crafts Show - August 21 & 22 2010 Located behind the Chamber of Commerce in Oscoda. Vendors from all around display their artistic talents on the shores of Lake Huron. Call the Chamber office for more informatoin. 989.739.7322
Paul Bunyan Days- Sept. 16,17 &18 2010- Come on out for some good old fashioned Lumberjack fun. Watch the chainsaw carvers compete for the title. crafters, food vendors, kids games and lots of family fun. 989.739.7322
